. . . was the sound that Joshua emitted after receiving his first instruction that he was going under water as swimming lessons began this morning. Many tears flowed, but through the tears Joshua actually listened and followed directions and was able to do what Miss Anne wanted him to do. Miss Anne is gentle, kind and yet firm with these kids so they can learn how to swim and be safe, which I am all about. He has 4 more 45 min. lessons this week. Our hope is that by Friday morning he will be beaming with pride as he shows Cory how he swims across the pool.

He looks great - hopefully, he will "graduate" with enough confidence to show off his new skills for Aunt Toni this weekend. Tell him, I can't wait to see him swim and if he works really hard he'll be swimming underwater before Nicholas, what a big boy!
