Little Piggies

Finally I found the boys banks that were cute yet functional. Joshua had received a really nice ceramic piggy bank when he was born, but it didn't stand the test of time or the torture of a preschooler. Joshua is a kid who likes to count and sort his coins from time to time and with the ceramic bank I just didn't trust him to open it on his own as I thought he'd drop it and that would be the piggy's demise. However, it was one fatal fall off the dresser onto the carpeted floor that did the poor pig in. Since then I've been on the lookout for a good replacement without much luck. Poor Matthew, being the second child, just never got a bank and we thought nothing of it until he had coins from Saint Nicholas Day and I had no where to put them (any money they get usually goes straight into their bank accounts unless it's coins or dollar bills). Thanks to a great find at Pooh's Corner the boys now have adorable, non-ceramic (read non-breakable) piggy banks to keep their money in and they both love their little piggies!
