Attack of the Bunny-Bears!!!

As many of you know Joshua LOVES his bunny-bear (his little Ty beanie bear that is dressed in a bunny costume)! It ALWAYS goes to bed with him, sometimes takes rides in the car with him, accompanies him around the house and ALWAYS goes to church nursery with him in case he needs a special friend. His original bunny-bear was a gift before he was born, but since he has formed such a bond with this little stuffed creature we have needed to purchase "back-up bunny-bears" so the original could take a bath in the washing machine. For a while now Joshua has taken to sucking on bunny-bears ears - YUCK! It's something that soothes him, but man does bunny-bear stink! So, I decided that we needed a few more bunny-bears so that we could have a fresh one everyday instead of a smelly one! Now Joshua has 6 bunny-bears!!! Thankfully at this age he doesn't really see a difference between bunny-bears and we are able to switch them!! Just thought we'd share this picture of Joshua surrounded by all his bunny-bears!

Too funny! It has been amazing how many similarities we have seen over the last year and half between Joshua and Nicholas. Nicholas also needed his dog Max all the time, and it always went to church nursery with him...if he had Max, he was fine. Nicholas also loved to chew on Max's ears and boy did he stick also. Max was also received as a gift when Nicholas was born. YOU however, are luckier than I as we were unable to find a Max STAND IN for when Max needed a bath. Therefore, we had to sneak baths between naps when Nicholas wasn't looking. Max also has had to have "stitches" as part of his head was starting to fall off from broken stitching. He is starting to lose his nose now...which I have absolutely no idea how I would fix that as there is nothing to stitch. I am thankful Nicholas is outgrowing his Max attachment before the poor dog falls apart.

That is so adorable! What a cute picture.

I wish that Elijah would have gotten attached to something, but he never did, as much as we tried with different toys and blankets. Which made it harder for us at night and nursery!

Smart thinking to get additional ones for Joshua - and I bet your relieved that it doesn't matter to him which one he has!
