Today we headed over to the zoo for the annual "Zoo Goes Boo" event (going on this Saturday and next Saturday). It's a great way to get more use out of the Halloween costume! We met up with Shawn, Erin and Owen to enjoy the fun together! It was the perfect fall day to enjoy some time outdoors while gathering treats and looking at all the animals. We attended this event last year, but this year Joshua was much more aware of his surroundings and what was going on - he actually gets the concept of trick or treating. He loved collecting and eating his treats as well as looking at and touching some of the animals. The highlights of his day were seeing the monkeys and touching a real snake (he had no fear)!
