Dirty!

This was the weekend to put the lawn in at our house. I'm so thankful because it's just plain dirty around our house due to the lack of grass. If you are outside when it is windy your eyes will hurt from all the dirt that blows in them. I can't wait less dirt to be tracked into the house! However, putting in a yard yourself is no easy task! Thanks to the help of my dad, my brother and Cory's brother the front yard was raked, fertilized and seeded yesterday. Today Cory is working solo to complete the seeding in the backyard. Joshua was outside all day yesterday "helping" and playing while the guys worked. By the end of the day he was a disgusting, filthy little boy covered from head to toe in dirt! If you double click on the picture you won't even get the full effect like those of us who saw him in person, but you'll be amazed at how our clean-loving boy got so dirty! The poor kid even tripped on the driveway and scratched up his left eyebrow and above so they too were filled with dirt which hopefully doesn't lead to infection. Needless to say we are looking forward to a yard to play in this summer!
