It was that time again to haul the freshly cut tree into the house a couple weeks ago and decorate it for Christmas. Oh the joys of trying to do such a task with a 19 month old around. I had kindly asked Joshua to keep the ornament boxes closed until we were to the point in which we could actually put them on the tree, but I can't blame the kid a whole lot as he loves to gather all his ornaments and take them out of the boxes one by one to look at. He has quite the collection of ornaments for a 5 1/2 year old too as we always hit the Hallmark store the day after Christmas to snag a few new ornaments for next year, but at half the price or less. Needless to say interesting, new items Matthew had never seen before made for lots of curiosity and grabbing little fingers who busily snatched ornaments and dropped them wherever they happened to fall out of his hand. We pretty much had to do a search of the house before we could actually put ornaments on to make sure we had all of the ones we wanted to decorate the tree with. Eventually the tree did get decorated and mostly by the boys who did a pretty darn good job!
