Winner!!

This fall Joshua participated in a walk-a-thon fundraiser for his school. Thanks to the handful of donors who supported him,he raised a pretty nice amount of money - enough to get a T-shirt and have his name thrown in a drawing (we didn't even tell Joshua that his name would be thrown in a drawing because we didn't figure it was worth mentioning because we were sure his odds wouldn't be great) . Fast forward to Tuesday. Apparently they had an assembly at school to announce the classes who walked/ran the most laps and raised the most money as well as the kids who raised the most money; the prizes were awarded accordingly. Joshua's class actually raised the most money so they won a pizza party! Then they pulled a name for the random prize drawing and surprised the heck out of Joshua by calling his name! He won an ipod Shuffle!! This day must rank right up there with one of Joshua's most favorite days as he got to go up in front of the whole school to get a really cool prize while everyone clapped and cheered for him! The boy has been rockin' out with his ipod shuffle ever since and has already had to recharge it within 24 hours of receiving it! What a special surprise that was totally unexpected!
