Kindergarten Christmas Party

Last Thursday was Joshua's Christmas party at Kindergarten. Missy and I volunteered to plan and carry out this party as the kindergarten room mother needed to help in her son's class. Before Thanksgiving we sat down together and came up with our plan. Thanks to Missy's love of all things crafts we had some cute activities for the kids to create and we also played a few games which kept all the kids very entertained. On top of what we planned the kids also did a book exchange so it was one jam-packed hour, or more, of fun! I must toot our horn and declare that our plans went off without a hitch, the kids enjoyed them and many of the parents thanked us for doing the party; a job well done by a dynamic duo!
Creating snowman cookies with fudge covered Oreos and decorator gels.

The snowmen were fun to create, but even better to eat!!

Joshua and his friend Jocelyn work on creating mitten ornaments.

Pass the present game which was a big hit! Hidden in the 5th wrapped box was a treat bag for each of the kindergartners.

Opening the present to find yet another present that needed to be passed and unwrapped.

The excitement of the book exchange.
